At Inspired ibadah, our focus is the Spiritual. Aesthetic. Creative. Modern. 

The act of worship and prayer is more than just a ritual. It’s the spiritual ascension of the soul. But what surprised us is that most prayer mats (which we spend so much time utilising daily) are uninspired, unoriginal and mass produced traditional designs on a cloth based material.

We wanted to inspire, refresh, reinvigorate and revitalise the style and feel of the traditional prayer rug with something more befitting the essence of prayer and philosophy of worship. 

In creating this new concept for our vision of the Inspired Mat at, we took inspiration from the incredibly rich and diverse heritage of Islamic art and cultural influences of the Muslim world. Our unique range of beautifully created and bespoke Inspired Mats are based on influences from the ancient world but with a modern twist fused with nature, geometrical beauty and the Sacred.  

From the dazzling geometry and vibrant colours prevalent in Spain under the Nasrid dynasty to the abundance of highly evolved decorative schemes showcasing a vast array of turquoise shades applied in Persia under Safavid rule to the modern and simplistic arabesque symmetry emanating from the United Arab Emirates - our aim is to draw on the extensive depth and variety of prominent art works and architectural designs from across the World to reinvigorate our human connection with the Sacred. 

At Inspired ibadah, nature is also Sacred and why our unique designs and innovative functionality come secondary to our commitment to eco-conscious consciousness. We are the custodians of nature and it is our duty and responsibility to be environmentally conscious which is why all of our Inspired Mats comprise of recyclable natural tree rubber and are printed with water based inks. Such is the importance of nature, being eco-friendly and promoting sustainability are acts of worship in their own right.
